Historic St. Patrick parishioner honored as a ‘Champion of Life’ |

MOBILE, Ala.—Michael R. Wilcox, CEO of Wilcox Financial and a member of Toledo Historic Church of St. Patrick, was honored with a Champion of Life award during an event surrounding the annual GMAC Bowl.

Mr. Wilcox, who is also a Bowling Green State University trustee, received the award during the Jan. 4 Mayor’s Banquet in Mobile.
Champion of Life honorees are “individuals who have achieved great success in their chosen field through dedication and hard work. They have overcome the many obstacles that have stood in the path of success and have given a great deal back to the community and country.”
Mr. Wilcox, a successful businessman and an inductee into the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame and the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame, was appointed to the BGSU Board of Trustees in 1999 and is immediate past chairman of the board. He also serves on the boards of other schools and foundations.
