National Amusements, City of Toledo offer free screening of ‘Passion of the Christ’ |

TOLEDO—National Amusements Inc., in partnership with the City of Toledo, is offering a free holiday showing of “The Passion of the Christ,” directed by Mel Gibson.
The special showing will run at 4 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. March 21-23 at Franklin Park 16: Cinema de Lux. Admission is free, but is on a first-come, first-served basis to auditorium capacity. This film has been rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America, patrons under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult guardian.
“National Amusements is pleased to partner with the City of Toledo to bring this thought-provoking film to the Toledo community,” says Wanda Whitson, company spokesperson. “We applaud District Councilman Tom Waniewski for suggesting this special film offering. It is always a pleasure to work with and serve the Toledo Community.”
