LIMA—The Charitable Italian American Organization (CIAO) presents an Italian dinner April 5, the city of Lima’s official Italian/American Day, from noon until 6 p.m. at the Lima Civic Center.
The dinner includes pasta, meatballs, Italian sausage, salad, garlic bread and coffee or tea. Cannoli dessert and soft drinks are available at additional cost. Carry out and drive-through dinners are available.
Live Italian and American music is to be provided by Oro Puro ( Pure Gold). At 1:30 p.m. a presentation is to be made to two outstanding members of the community.
Adult tickets are $8 in advance or $8.50 at the door and tickets for children under 12 are $5.50 in advance or $6 at the door.
Tickets are available from any CIAO member or at Happy Daz, Beer Barrel, Rigali’s Pizza, Milano Café and Casa Lu Al.
Proceeds are used for college scholarships and numerous community groups and activities including equestrian therapy, Newspapers in Education, all Lima area high schools, Lima Army Reserve, Math Counts, St. Rita’s Medical Center, Children’s Developmental Center, Make A Wish Foundation and other groups needing assistance.
