LIMA—The Charitable Italian American Organization (CIAO) presented $1,000 scholarships to 21 graduating high school seniors from the Lima area.

The scholarships were presented during the May CIAO dinner at the Milano Cafe and students were accompanied by their parents and school counselors.

Recipients from Lima Central Catholic High School include Cory Duff, Ellen Huffman, Alexandria Kennedy, Jared Klaus, Frankie Luchini, Jacob Rigali, Macdonnell Stanford and Lauren Watson.

The annual CIAO pasta dinner is the primary fundraiser for the organization with a majority of profits going into scholarships. CIAO also funds various other community groups and events.
