The theme was Baobab Blast, set in the African savannah. During the week, more than 60 young people and more than 25 teens and adults heard Bible stories and learned about the saints while enjoying snacks, making crafts and having fun with music and games. Participants and volunteers came from all four Lima parishes and Lima Central Catholic High School. St. Rita's Medical Center donated T-shirts.

The African theme inspired the mission project for the week — supporting the Diocese of Toledo’s Mission of Accompaniment in Zimbabwe. The children donated more than $230 to the mission in addition to many wish list items for Samaritan House, the women’s and children’s shelter located on the St. Rose campus.
