Car show and motorcycle run set for Sept. 27 |

OREGON—Crusin’ by the Park Classic Car Show and Motorcycle Run to Marblehead Lighthouse, a benefit for the Little Sisters of the Poor, is Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is to be held on the grounds of Sacred Heart Home for the Elderly at the corner of Navarre and Wynn Roads across from Pearson Park in Oregon.
All makes and models of cars and motorcycles are welcome. Vehicle registration for the car show is from 9 a.m. to noon, with parade at 1 p.m., judging at 2 p.m. and awards presented at 3 p.m. Car registration is $10 and includes a goodie bag and dash plaque.
The day’s activities include music by disc jockey Cruisin’ Zeake, a pig roast, other food, door prizes, 50/50 raffles and more.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. for the Big Ride for the Little Sisters. At 11:00 a.m., after the blessing of the bikes, the group departs for Marblehead Lighthouse. On their return to Little Sisters of the Poor around 2:30 p.m. they join the festivities.
Registration for the Big Ride is $25 for a single person on a motorcycle and $35 for two riders. Registration includes coffee and doughnuts, refreshments at Marblehead, the pig roast, car show, entertainment and door prizes.
