OREGON—Cardinal Stritch High School (CSHS) has named Conrad Kolbow as the new varsity head football coach, effective immediately. Prior to the announcement, Mr. Kolbow served as the varsity football assistant coach.

School administration terminated the contract of head varsity football coach Andre Hampton Aug. 12 after an internal investigation uncovered illegal financial activity. Cardinal Stritch High School is cooperating with the Oregon Police Department, which is conducting an ongoing investigation into the matter.

The administration and athletic department met with parents and student/athletes on Aug. 13 to inform them of the staff change and to answer their questions.

Mr. Kolbow has been an assistant coach for the Mighty Cardinals for the past three seasons and has served as an assistant football coach at Ottawa Hills and Rogers High Schools prior to his arrival at CSHS.
