TOLEDO—Sacred Heart School is planning a homecoming celebration after the 4:30 p.m. Mass May 30.

The program at the school, 824 Sixth St., is for all current and former students, families, faculty and staff to celebrate, tell stories, walk through the halls and share in a potluck dinner. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert along with photos, memories and stories to share.

The school has been an important and influential piece of the east Toledo landscape for 120 years. A new chapter for Catholic education in east Toledo begins as Sacred Heart School consolidates with the other Catholic schools in the area to form the Kateri Catholic School System.
