Cathedral concert series opens Oct. 25

TOLEDO—Toledo Symphony harpist Nancy Lendrim and flautist Joel Tse present a concert at Toledo Rosary Cathedral, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. The concert includes classical works for flute and harp as well as arrangements of folk melodies.

Nancy Lendrim is principal harp of the Toledo Symphony and has performed with many orchestras including Cleveland, Atlanta, Detroit and Philadelphia. She is on the faculty of the University of Toledo, Heidelberg University and the Saratoga Harp Colony.

Joel Tse is principal flute of the Toledo Symphony. In addition to his appearances with numerous orchestras he is active as a chamber musician, performing concerts throughout Europe, Russia, South America, Greece, Turkey and Israel.

The concert is free and open to the public. A free will offering to support the concert series will be taken. Rosary Cathedral is located at 2535 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo.
