CCHS students earn awards for Latin exam |

TOLEDO—Twenty-four students from Toledo Central Catholic High School took the 2010 National Latin Exam, along with more than 150,000 students from all 50 states and 13 foreign countries.
Chloe Rose earned a Cum Laude award for scoring 27 out of 40 on the Latin I exam, Carolyn Comes and Michael Ragan earned Cum Laude awards for scoring 28 out of 40 on the Latin II exam and Caleona Zeman earned a Cum Laude award for scoring 29 out of 40 on the Latin II exam. The national average score for those two tests is 26.
Kelly McKinnon earned a ribbon and certificate for scoring 38 out of 40 on the Introduction to Latin exam, and Kirsi Heban, Marissa Jones, Troy Toland and Tamarra Washington earned certificates for scoring above the national average of 34 on the Introduction to Latin exam.
