TOLEDO—Forty Lourdes College choirs, under the direction of Karen T. Biscay, are presenting a holiday concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 14 at Toledo St. Hedwig.
Proceeds from the program benefit the church’s Pennies for Pipes repair fund for the church’s 20 rank, 173-speaking pipe organ.
The choirs are to sing traditional carols from Germany, Sweden, France, Russia, England, Poland and the United States and lead an audience sing-along.
Tickets can be purchased for $5 after Masses at St. Adalbert and St. Hedwig churches, at the rectory of St. Adalbert during its normal business hours and at the door before the concert beginning at 2 p.m.
Following the concert, attendees are invited to a dessert reception in the Club Rooms of the St. Hedwig School building. A free-will offering will be taken.
At the reception, drawings for the major raffle and merchandise raffles are to be held. Tickets for the major raffle are $1 for the $100 first prize, $50 second and third prizes and a hand-knitted afghan for fourth prize. Merchandise raffle tickets are three for $1 for prizes including gift certificates from Appliance Center, Zavotski’s and Budget Blinds.
Raffle proceeds also benefit St. Hedwig’s Pennies For Pipes campaign.
