TOLEDO—The Padua Center is getting new windows in its facility thanks to a $7,130 grant from the Stranahan Supporting Organization of the Toledo Community Foundation.

“The current windows are original, and the new windows will save energy,” says Tiffin Franciscan Sister Virginia Welsh, executive director of the Padua Center. “This grant will help us continue to help our community. Padua Center is very thankful for any support.”

The Toledo Community Foundation, Inc. is a public charitable organization created by citizens of our community to enrich the quality of life for individuals and families in the area. In existence since 1973, the foundation now has more than 450 funds with assets of approximately $138 million.

The Padua Center is also accepting donations to fund future programs including hospitality, after school tutoring and Padua Possibilities, an alternative to suspension program for elementary school children. For more information on the Padua Center or how to support its community efforts, contact Sr. Welsh at 419-241-6465 or visit www.paduacenter.org.
