Padua Center sponsors festival

TOLEDO—The Padua Center is holding its first “Urban Chicken Festival” May 23 from 1-6 p.m. behind the center at 1416 Nebraska Ave. Admission is free.

Children can feed the chickens, learn to care for them and search for eggs. The event also includes raffles, an egg hunt, rummage sale, games for children and adults and barbecue chicken.

Raffle prizes are a 32-inch TV, gas grill and digital camera. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket, six for $5 and six books for $25.
