TOLEDO—Toledo Central Catholic High School is offering summer camps to help develop skills in basketball and football.

The Fighting Irish boys basketball camp is scheduled for June 21-24 at the CCHS Sullivan Center. Led by City League champion coach Jim Welling, the camp features skill development, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 competitions, individual skills competitions, awards and a T-shirt.

Camp times are 9-11:30 a.m. for incoming grades four through six, and 12:30-3 p.m. for those entering grades seven through nine. The cost is $50 each, or $40 each for four or more players from the same team.

The CCHS football camp is scheduled for July 7-9 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gallagher Athletic Complex.

Led by coach Greg Dempsey and current and former Fighting Irish players, the camp includes individual, group and team instruction, offensive and defensive fundamentals and instruction in the guiding principals of Fighting Irish football — enthusiasm, hard work and positive attitude.

The camp is open to individuals entering third through ninth grades, and the cost is $40 per camper.
