Conferences on ethics of aging offered

Catholic Charities of Toledo is offering a workshops throughout the diocese that address the advanced directives, moral and ethical dilemmas faced as people age.

The first program, April 20, features guest speaker Father Joseph Cardone, vice president of mission and values integration at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. The workshop is offered twice that day at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Toledo Corpus Christi.

The remaining programs are to be facilitated by Catholic Charities staff:

• April 21, 2:30 p.m., Sandusky Holy Angels
• April 21, 6:30 p.m., Sandusky St. Mary
• April 22, 4 p.m., Bucyrus Holy Family
• April 23, 7 p.m., Fort Jennings St. Joseph
• April 28, 4:30 p.m., Archbold St. Peter

All sessions are 90 minutes in length and are offered at no charge to attendees. The programs are funded by the Annual Catholic Appeal.
