SYLVANIA—Women Blessing Women is holding a “Spring Blessings Fashion Show and Luncheon” June 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lourdes College gymnasium in Sylvania.

The event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Toledo organization, which is dedicated to empowering women living in poverty to achieve success, gain confidence and obtain living-wage jobs. Participants develop the tools needed to become self-sufficient and set personal, educational and employment-related goals to lift themselves up from poverty.

Participants from Women Blessing Women are to be the models and the speakers at the fashion show and luncheon.

The cost is $20, which includes lunch by Outback Steakhouse. Reservations can be made by mailing a check to Women Blessing Women, 223 Page St., Toledo, OH 43620 by May 29.
