COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Ohio State Council Knights of Columbus Charity Foundation recently awarded six of 30 $1,000 Catholic high school scholarships to students in the Toledo Diocese.

The Toledo Diocese winners are Cleo Bowers, Tiffin Calvert; Samantha Giambruno-Fuge, Lima Central Catholic; Mark Blowers, Toledo St. Francis de Sales; Matt Trentman, Delphos St. John; Elizabeth Truman, Toledo St. Ursula Academy; and Corey Baker, Fostoria St. Wendelin.  

Scholarship applications are available in September each year from high school counselors. Since 1996, approximately $264,000 has been awarded statewide by the Ohio Knights of Columbus.
