Mercy Health Partners names new CEO for St. Vincent

TOLEDO—Imran Andrabi, senior vice president of operational transformation at St. Vincent and chief academic officer for Mercy Health Partners, has been named president and chief executive officer for St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Andrabi began his new position Dec. 15.

“Imran’s ability to connect with individuals at all levels throughout the organization, as well as physicians throughout our community, will enable him to continue the momentum he has already begun to position St. V’s for success well into the future,” said Steven L. Mickus, president and chief executive officer for Mercy Health Partners.

As president and CEO of St. Vincent, Dr. Andrabi oversees operations, works to enhance the patient experience and further service line development and growth opportunities. In addition, he works closely with physicians in these efforts by building relationships and exploring opportunities for collaboration.

Dr. Andrabi received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of the Punjab and King Edward Medical College in Pakistan, respectively. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Managed Care Medicine. Dr. Andrabi is also a fellow of the National Institute for Program Director Development and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He and his wife have three children.
