The religious sisters of the Diocese of Toledo have made the issue of human trafficking a top priority. Educators on the subject are now available for presentations in schools, churches, health care facilities, law enforcement agencies and social service agencies.

In August, the religious communities made public a proclamation to corporately stand in support of human rights by explicitly opposing human trafficking.

With a grant from a collaborative formed by the Humility of Mary Sisters in the Diocese of Cleveland, two Resource Centers on Trafficking have been established: one at the campus of the Toledo Sisters of Notre Dame and the other at the Tiffin Franciscan Sisters campus.

To schedule a speaker, contact any of the women religious communities in the diocese:
• Sisters of Notre Dame, 419-536-9587
• Sylvania Franciscan Sisters, 419-882-8643
• Tiffin Franciscan Sisters, 419-447-0435
• Ursuline Sisters, 419-536-0019
