TOLEDO—The Sisters of Notre Dame, Toledo Province, sponsor the 18th annual FamilyFest from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at  Notre Dame Academy, 3535 Sylvania Ave.

The event featuring a Holiday Craft Shop, a baked goods booth that offers homemade jams and jellies, Bingo, children’s activities and raffles is also known for its home-cooked dinners.

Nearly 2,000 dinners were served at last year’s FamilyFest. The $8 dinner features Bar-B-Que Traveler Chicken or home-cooked pork chops and all the trimmings, including homemade pie for dessert. Carry-out meals are also available.

Raffle tickets for a $5,000 cash first prize drawing are on sale now for $1 each or 12 for $10. Call 419-479-3093 to purchase tickets or for more information about Family Fest.

Proceeds from FamilyFest benefit the ministries of the Sisters of Notre Dame. The Sisters of the Toledo Province minister in 11 states, Rome, Italy, and Papua New Guinea.
