Seventh- through 12th-graders are invited to participate in the National 2009-10 Multi-Media Youth Arts Contest sponsored by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD).

Help educate others about the reality of poverty and the work of CCHD through your design and communications talents — writing, drawing, painting or electronic media. Entries are judged locally and winners entered into national competition.

Entrants are required to have interaction with a CCHD-funded group. For more information on this requirement and to obtain a list of CCHD-funded groups in the Diocese of Toledo, contact Germaine Kirk, social ministry program coordinator for Diocese of Toledo Catholic Charities, at 419-244-6711, ext. 431 or gkirk@toledodiocese.org.

For more information on the contest and contest materials, visit www.usccb.org/cchd/youth.shtml#multimedia. Entry deadline is March 1, 2010.
