ST. MEINRAD, Ind.—Two seminarians and a laywoman from the Diocese of Toledo were among 45 to receive master’s degrees May 10 from St. Meinrad School of Theology.

Seminarians Scott Carroll of Maumee St. Joseph and Christopher Mileski of Tiffin St. Joseph received Master of Arts in Catholic Philosophical Studies degrees. Joyce Wittler of Defiance St. Mary received a Master of Theological Studies degree.

“You are called to be leaders of God’s chosen people,” Bishop R. Walker Nickless of the Diocese of Sioux City told the graduates in the convocation address. “As leaders, you are instruments of Christ’s grace.”

Graduates accepted their diplomas from Benedictan Archabbot Justin DuVall of St. Meinrad Archabbey, chairman of the School of Theology’s board of trustees.
