TIFFIN—The Tiffin Franciscan Sisters are planning the Spring Appalachian Immersion Experience for Young Adults March 3-7 around Booneville, Ky., the area where Tiffin Franciscan Sister Marge Eilerman ministers.

The trip is open to 15 participants between the ages of 18 and 35 who would like to get acquainted with the folks who call the mountains home, learn about the challenges they face and give service where needed. The experience includes time to enjoy the Appalachian culture, to make new friends and to experience God with us.

The cost of the trip is an $80 to $100 donation. Participants are encouraged to seek family and friends to be sponsors.
