“Tip or Treat is a fun evening with your friends and a great way to raise money for children’s education in northwest Ohio. All gifts are matched by Children’s Scholarship Fund in New York,” says Robert O’Brien, honorary chairman.

The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund has awarded more than 8,800 scholarships totaling more than $7 million to students in northwest Ohio for the past 10 years. Currently, 800 students from Lucas, Wood and Fulton counties are receiving scholarships from the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund to attend a private school for kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2008-2009 school year.

Central City Ministry of Toledo has a 40-year history of supporting the mission of Catholic education to students of the central city, with nearly 450 currently enrolled at two campuses: Rosary Cathedral School on Collingwood Boulevard and Queen of Apostles on Courtland and Broadway in the historic Old South End.

Tickets to the event are $40 per person and include choice of four entrees, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Reservations can be made by calling 419-244-6711, ext. 220.
