TOLEDO—A candlelight prayer vigil for health care reform is planned for Aug. 19 at 8 p.m. at Toledo Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr St.

In small and large congregations, hospital chapels, college campuses and public squares, people of faith are called to pray for health care for all, especially those who are left out of the health care system, for those on the brink of losing coverage and for those with the power to enact change.

The event at Corpus Christi is sponsored by Faithful Reform in Health Care, Toledo Area Ministries, Toledo Area Jobs with Justice and the Interfaith Worker Justice Coalition.
