SYLVANIA—The Christ Child Society of Toledo held its annual Fall Day of Reflection Oct. 15 at Lourdes College. The theme was  “Expressing Gratitude.”

The day’s spiritual journey began with quiet meditation in the Queen of Peace Chapel. Christ Child members then had the opportunity to reflect and pray at various appointed outdoor stations. In keeping with the theme of giving thanks and personal spiritual development, several virtues including wisdom, counsel, fortitude, knowledge and piety were presented and discussed.

All then returned to the chapel for confirmation that they have the tools and support to help them move forward in a positive way.

Jan Purinton, Sharon Henning and Sylvania Franciscan Sister Rosine Sobczak were chairs of the event. Assisting that day were committee members Mary Murnen, Lynne Wolf, Karen David and Mary Bell.
