Local parish ministers invited to liturgical program

DETROIT—The 2009 National Meeting of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions concludes with a program open to all parish ministers from Ohio and Michigan.

The Oct. 10 program features a keynote address by Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron and additional breakout workshop sessions throughout the day. Archbishop Vigneron’s address is titled “Liturgical Catechesis: The Sacraments of the Faith that Comes from Hearing.”

All activities are to be held at the St. John Retreat Center and the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Mich.

The meeting is sponsored by the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions and the USCCB Committee on Divine Worship and hosted by the worship offices from the dioceses of Ohio and Michigan.
