FREMONT—Twenty priests from the Diocese of Toledo recently completed “Good Leaders, Good Shepherds,” a two-year clergy leadership development program sponsored by the Catholic Leadership Institute.

With the support of Bishop Leonard P. Blair, the participating priests are the first class from the Diocese of Toledo to complete the program, which is designed to equip clergy with the relevant, practical and pastoral leadership skills needed to shepherd a parish and support the governing office of their priesthood.

The group gathered at Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center in Fremont March 17 for a prayer service, dinner and graduation ceremony.
