Individuals suffering from the pain of an abortion experience are invited to a prayer service Aug. 16 at 1 p.m.

The service is sponsored by Project Rachel, the Catholic church’s healing ministry to those who have been involved in abortion. Project Rachel helps post-abortive women deal with feelings of sorrow, regret, grief, isolation or confusion through individual guidance, retreats and support groups. The program is offered in 140 dioceses in the United States, including the Diocese of Toledo.
