There are several ways to help bring relief to the people of Haiti who are victims of the powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake that rocked the nation earlier this week.

All Catholic parishes in the diocese of Toledo were asked to take a second collection Jan. 16-17 toward Catholic Relief Service’s relief efforts. Donations to the organization may also be made through the diocese Office of Global Concerns. To make a contribution, contact Deacon Paul White or Tina Hornyak at 419-244-6711 or e-mail pwhite@toledodiocese.org or thornyak@toledodiocese.org.

For those wanting to give relief items, the Little Sisters of the Poor Sacred Heart Home in Oregon is an authorized collection location in for donations. The Little Sisters are working with ISOH/IMPACT, a local disaster relief agency located in Waterville.
