MAUMEE—The Zepf Center is hosting a golf outing and dinner Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Brandywine County Club, 7005 Salisbury Rd. in Maumee.
The Tee Up for Zepf Center event is sponsored by Gallon, Takacs, Boissoneault & Schaffer Co. Tickets are $80 per person, $300 for a foursome, and include all greens fees, a box lunch and a steak and chicken dinner. The cost is 60 percent tax deductible.
Proceeds from the golf outing benefit the Elizabeth A. Zepf Foundation in support of mental health recovery and vocational development for Zepf Center clients. Both the center and foundation are named for Elizabeth A. Zepf, an advocate for individuals with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression and schizophrenia. The Zepf Center is a non-profit organization that provides quality services for Lucas County children, adolescents and adults with severe and persistent mental health disorders.
The outing features a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Yark Automotive, skins, door prizes, hole contests, a 50/50 raffle and a cash bar. Registration is at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Those interested in participating can receive a registration form by calling Christina Baskey at 419-841-7701, ext. 2207 or by visiting Zepf Center online at www.zepfcenter.org.
