National City Bank partners with Sandusky Central Catholic

SANDUSKY—Sandusky Central Catholic School (SCCS) received $5,000 from National City Bank to establish a scholarship for eighth-grade students seeking to continue their SCCS education at St. Mary Central Catholic High School.

Delia MacDonald, vice president and branch manager, and Albert Tegel, senior vice president of National City Bank, presented Judy Monaghan, superintendent of Sandusky Central Catholic School, with a check for $5,000 to establish a scholarship in the name of the bank.

In accepting the gift, Dr. Monaghan stated, “This gift is another sign of support from the community that Sandusky Central Catholic is a unique and outstanding school. We are grateful for their support and generosity.”

“National City is committed to supporting the communities we serve, not only with our financial expertise, but through educational support as well,” said Mr. Tegel.  “We are proud to partner with Sandusky Central Catholic School to provide tuition assistance in the form of this scholarship.”
