PORT CLINTON—The Respect Life ministries of Port Clinton Immaculate Conception and Marblehead St. Joseph are sponsoring a program to explain the science behind stem cell research.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. March 8 with wine and cheese refreshments at the Immaculate Conception gymnasium at 414 Madison St. The audio-visual program features radio and television host Bill Schneeberger.
A native of the Cleveland area, Mr. Schneeberger is a board member of Hail Holy Queen Communications and Walking On Water Radio and is a frequent guest on Catholic radio and television shows. He is a member of “Do Not Harm: The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics.”
After learning of the plight of frozen embryos that would likely be used for embryonic stem cell research, Mr. Schneeberger discovered the life-saving and life-giving benefits of adult stem cell research (ASCR) and began lecturing about the benefits of this research and therapy.
Child care is available during the program.
For more information contact Judy Geiger at the Immaculate Conception parish office at 419-734-4004.
