TIFFIN—The annual Walter A. Daniel, M.D. Memorial Golf Outing and Silent Auction is scheduled for Aug. 17 at Mohawk Golf and Country Club with all proceeds benefiting the Mercy Tiffin Health Foundation.

The outing features a single flight that tees off at 10 a.m. The field is limited to the first 36 paid teams and begins with a shotgun start run in a scramble format. Clouse Construction is serving as a major sponsor of the event.

The event will include a take-away lunch as well as a buffet dinner following golf. Faith Egli, head professional at Mohawk, will be available for instruction. Other features of the day include closest to the pin and longest drive competitions.

A silent auction of sports and celebrity memorabilia complements the outing. Bidding is open to the public at Mohawk Golf and Country Club the day of the event. Bidding begins July 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin’s McMullen Conference Center. The items will also be available for bidding from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at the McMullen Conference Center.
