Mercy of Tiffin welcomes new doctors |

TIFFIN—Mercy Hospital of Tiffin welcomes four new doctors to its staff, Doctors Musa Ajala, Robert Cecchino, Benahili Iboaya and Daniel Kosinski.
Dr. Cecchino, board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has special interest in diseases of the breast, colon and rectal surgery and surgical oncology. He also performs a broad range of general surgical procedures including laparoscopic surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopies and colonoscopies and capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Cecchino received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Connecticut Affiliated Hospitals. He fulfilled a chief general surgical residency at Akron General Hospital and Akron Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Ajala (M.D.) and Dr. Kosinski (D.O.), both specialists in nephrology — diseases of the kidneys — have opened a specialty clinic on the second floor of the Medical Office Building attached to the new Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, and are seeing patients on Fridays.
Dr. Ajala completed a fellowship in nephrology at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pa., and is board certified in both nephrology and internal medicine.
Dr. Iboaya completed a clinical and interventional fellowship in nephrology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. He is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Kosinski, a specialist in cardiovascular medicine, is seeing patients on a physician referral basis in the office of Dr. Dinesh Thekdi.
Dr. Kosinski is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is also certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is to provide defibrillator, electrophysiology and pacemaker services at Mercy Tiffin.
Dr. Kosinski received his medical degree from the former Medical College of Ohio and completed an internal medicine residency at the Medical Center of Delaware in Buffalo, N. Y. He then fulfilled fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at the Medical College of Ohio.
