TIFFIN—Mercy Tiffin Hospital is hosting a Health Promotion Event from  6:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15 in the McMullen Conference Center.

The Mercy Tiffin Health Screen Profile is available for a cost of $25. This set of tests includes BUN, calcium, creatinine, glucose level, lipid profile (cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides), liver enzymes (ALT and AST levels), potassium, WBC/RBC, hemoglobin, hematacrit and platelet.

Also being offered are hemoglobin A1C for $15, PSA (for males only) for $10 and TSH thyroid for $10.

Complimentary health related services are also to be available, including blood pressure readings, body fat analysis, nutrition counseling, heel screening for bone density, sleep improvement and spirometry screening for lung function.

No appointment is required and fasting for 12 hours is highly recommended. Patients may drink water and take regular medications. Test results are to be mailed to screening participants within several days of the screening.

Since this is a screening event no physician orders will be accepted. Cash or checks made out to Mercy Tiffin Hospital are accepted.
