NEW RIEGEL—An ecumenical prayer service supporting deployed military men and women and their families from the area is to be held Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at New Riegel All Saints Church.
The service is an opportunity to pray for the success and safe return of each and every soldier. It will include Scripture readings, prayers, songs and testimonials from soldiers and their family members.
Supplies for military care packages will be collected at the service, along with money to cover postage costs. Suggested donations include: pre-paid phone cards (AT&T), packaged beef jerky (store bought only), nuts, single-serve microwave soup containers, playing cards, paperback books, AA and AAA batteries, personal hygiene items, chewing gum and writing supplies.
All area churches are invited to the non-denominational service. All Saints Church is located at 41 North Perry Street in New Riegel. Contact Dan Borer at 419-595-2942 with questions.
