TIFFIN—Registration is now open for the Mercy Tiffin Foundation 2010 Walter A. Daniel, M.D. Memorial Golf Outing, which is scheduled Aug. 16 at Mohawk Golf and Country Club.

Supported by Clouse Construction and Fifth Third Bank, the outing follows a “Caddyshack” theme.

The handicap scramble has a 9 a.m. tee time and registration is $150 per person, of which $62.92 (or $82.92 for Mohawk club members) is tax deductible. The entry fee includes greens fee, cart, continental breakfast and a gift. Following the tournament, a dinner is to be served. The registration deadline is Aug. 2 or until all spots have been filled.

This event, originally known as the Mercy Tiffin Health Foundation Golf Outing, has generated funds for the foundation nearly 19 years. The name of the outing was changed in 1997 to honor the memory of Dr. Daniel, who was instrumental in starting the foundation in December 1985.
