Junior Katie Bocian with her self portrait “I Am” and sophomore Annie Jorgenson with her watercolor “Spring” also received exhibition honors.
Two students placed in the 2009 Youth Art Month Flag and Graphic Design Competition. Seventh-grader Maria Cermak received honorable mention in the grade 6-8 category. Both winning entries centered on the theme “Start with Art, Learn for Life.”
