TOLEDO—Five St. Ursula Academy (SUA) students have had their art pieces accepted into the prestigious FOCUS Art Show, a competitive show for schools in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

Students from SUA’s drawing, painting, ceramics, 2- & 3-D design and photography classes entered close to 40 pieces. There were 1,174 pieces entered from 64 different teachers and 27 schools, with 282 pieces accepted.

Twenty-one Juror Awards were given to students of 16 different teachers from 11 schools. St. Ursula’s Kelsey Greenoe took home one of these awards.

The FOCUS Exhibition runs from Sept. 5 through Oct. 4 at Bowling Green State University’s School of Art Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery. The closing reception and awards ceremony is to be held Oct. 4.
