TOLEDO—A state champion in impromptu speaking was the topping on a wonderful year in speech for the Notre Dame Academy Speech Team.

NDA was district champ in the Ohio High School Speech League district as well as Western Ohio District champ in the National Forensic League district. The team sent a record 24 girls to states.

Four are going to nationals in a suburb of Las Vegas in June. At the state competition in Medina, they tied for seventh out of the 66 schools that qualified students for states.
