LIVONIA, Mich.—Kevin Henry, 2008 graduate of Toledo St. Francis de Sales High School, signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Madonna University.
“We are very excited to sign a player of Kevin’s ability,” commented Coach Chuck Henry following the signing. “He is a very athletic player who can play either of the guard spots and his height is a dimension that can only help us.”
Kevin, a 6-foot-5 player and no relation to the Madonna University coach, has spent the last three seasons on the varsity squad at St. Francis. As a senior, he was first team all-city, second team all-district, selected to the All-Toledo Blade first team and earned honorable mention for the all-state team. He also led the Knights in scoring and assists this season.
