TOLEDO—St. Ursula Academy has launched its One-to-One Apple MacBook Program.
The program puts a MacBook computer in the hands of all incoming freshmen and their teachers, elevating teaching and learning to new heights where global knowledge, textbooks, student files and communication are within reach anytime day or night.
“The introduction of this state-of-the-art technology program aligns beautifully with St. Ursula’s commitment to provide the best college-prep education possible for each and every girl," says Jane McGee, St. Ursula principal. “By 2012, every student at St. Ursula will be using this powerful technology and becoming accustomed to the 21st century way of doing things.”
MacBooks are lightweight, mobile computers, capable of wireless access to the Internet and the campus network. They eliminate the need for carrying most textbooks and other school supplies and enhance teaching while providing more efficient and productive learning.
