TOLEDO—Toledo St. Pius X parishioners and the seventh grade students of St. Pius X School present their rendition of the Festival of Lessons and Carols for the public Dec. 20 at 3 p.m.

The presentation is based on an Order drawn up by Edward White Benson, later the Archbishop of Canterbury, for Christmas Eve 1880.

The service begins with traditional readings and carols taken from the Old Testament, followed by the seventh-grade class’ presentation of “Living the Nativity,” based on the Gospels of the New Testament, which is also interjected with various carols of the season.
