TOLEDO—Keith Egan, a professor, author and speaker, will present “I Want to See God — Born to be Contemplatives” at the Ursuline Center Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m., and Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dr. Egan will discuss how every human person is born with the natural desire for God that a prayerful and contemplative spirit fosters. For Christians, this desire is rooted in the experience of baptism and nourished by the celebration of the eucharistic prayer. This contemplative spirit is not some exotic calling; rather the fostering of a contemplative spirit is a way of becoming more fully human, an everyday, very human way of living in which one becomes ever more open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
