TOLEDO—Students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades at Toledo Christ the King School recently visited Sisters of Notre Dame at their Provincial House.
The visit was aimed at bridging the years between the students and sisters who started and continue to support the school. Some of the highlights of the visit included helping Notre Dame Sister Theophane Sullivan celebrate her 99th birthday, playing Wii bowling with Notre Dame Sister Rose Maria Moser and learning about the work of the sisters here and around the world.
One conversation was with Notre Dame Sister Mary Immaculate Heinl, who was Christ the King’s first school principal. She recounted the history of the early years for the students.
