FINDLAY—Father Michael Hohenbrink, pastor of Findlay St. Michael, was one of three former members to be named emeritus members of the St. Meinrad Board of Overseers.

The board provides counsel to the president-rector of St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, St. Meinrad, Ind. In addition to Fr. Hohenbrink, Joseph Steurer of Sewickley, Pa., and Ronald Tisch of Jasper, Ind., were named emeritus members at the board’s April 24 meeting.
Fr. Hohenbrink is an alumnus of St. Meinrad. He attended Saint Meinrad High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Meinrad College. He holds a Master of Divinity from St. Meinrad School of Theology. He also studied at Indiana University and received a master’s in human development from St. Mary University, Winona, Minn.
Before serving as pastor in Findlay, he also served as the vocation director / vicar for seminarians for 15 years and as a chaplain and teacher of religion at Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic High School. He served on the St. Meinrad Board of Overseers for 19 years.
