FOSTORIA—Colin Campbell, a senior at Fostoria St. Wendelin High School has been named a finalist in the 2009 Fireside Essay Scholarship competition.  

Colin, who plans to attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall, is one of 34 finalists from across the nation and the only finalist from the Diocese of Toledo.

Fireside Catholic Publishing established the Fireside Scholarship in 1990 to recognize top religion students in Catholic high schools.
