OTTAWA—George E. And Ruth E. (Finster) Schroeder, who were married at Ottawa SS. Peter & Paul May 14, 1949, by Father Bernard Mullen, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 17 with a Mass at the church followed by a family breakfast.

The couple has five children: Stephen, Michael and Linda of Findlay and Charles and Karen of Ottawa. They have 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder graduated from SS. Peter & Paul High School. Mrs. Schroeder graduated from Siena Heights College and Mr. Schroeder from the University of Notre Dame. He is retired from the law firm of Schroeder, Blankemeyer and Schroeder.

The Schroeders reside in Ottawa.
