NORWALK—The 2008-2009 Catholic Identity program starts in September at the Norwalk St. Paul Parish Center.

Participants may choose to enroll in the Tuesday evening sessions from 7-9 p.m. beginning Sept. 23 or the Thursday morning sessions from 9:15-11:15 a.m. beginning Sept. 25. The 18 classes run through April.

Catechists and teachers in Catholic schools can apply course hours to some of the requirements of the diocesan Growing-in-Faith certification process. Some hours may be used as electives.

The cost of the program is $40 to cover materials; $25 must be paid when registering with the $15 balance to be paid later. Registration deadline is Sept. 3.
